Here you see the current status of the Kuraburi project! Every new step will be published here and inform you about the use of the donations.

Phase 1 – The purchase of the land is completed.

Approximately 1 kilometre from Wat Samakeetam in Kuraburi we purchased a 11200 sqm piece of land for 3.000.000 Baht ( 60.000 Euro ) and signed it over to the temple. The 32 families receive living right of abode for land and houses and pay the temple a rent of approx. 15 Euros per year (Fugger principle).

Phase 2 – Building of 32 houses

The contract with the construction company was signed on Wednesday, 30.03.2005. At the signing the first instalment of 1.800.000 Baht was paid. The total contract sum is 5.400.000 Baht!
The total building time frame for the 32 houses was contractually fixed at 4 months.

The laying of the foundation stone took place on : 08.04.2005 at 9:09 am.

Of the 460.000 Bath for the village water supply the first instalment
of 200.000 Baht was paid.

Of the 5.400.000 Bath for the Construction the second instalment
of 1.800.000 Baht was paid.

Of the 460.000 Bath for the village water supply the second instalment
of 200.000 Baht was paid.

Of the 1.250.000 Bath for the village street the first instalment
of 400.000 Baht was paid.

Of the 5.400.000 Bath for the Construction the thirth instalment
of 1.800.000 Baht was paid.

Of the 1.250.000 Bath for the village street the second instalment
of 600.000 Baht was paid.
